Linda Hwang

Cellist

There is a thoughtful curiosity in the way Australian cellist Linda Hwang explores music, earning praise from the Boston Music Intelligencer for her interpretations as “for the ages.” Drawn to innovation in the classical space, Linda has featured as a chamber musician and soloist at the Massachusetts International Festival of the Arts, the Boston New Works Festival, and the Brisbane Artist Run Initiative Festival in Queensland, Australia.

She performs regularly with the White Snake Projects and appears widely across the East Coast with ensembles including the Victory Players, Fermata Chamber Soloists, Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, Boston Chamber Symphony, and The Gilded Age Orchestra. She serves as principal cellist of the Du Bois Orchestra.

Beyond performing, Linda is Director of Touring & Marketing at Ariel Artists management,  where she works closely with Grammy-winning classical contemporary ensembles in the US and Europe.
